Commissioners approve one-year jail food-service contract with Trinity Services Group

Clearfield County commissioners approved a one-year contract on Dec. 23, 2025, to continue Trinity Services Group as the county jail’s food-service provider, with options to renew for up to three additional years.

County staff said they received two proposals and that the warden and county reviewers recommended awarding the contract to Trinity, the incumbent provider. The contract, described by staff as similar in responsibilities to the prior agreement, includes some equipment upgrades and retains a sliding scale for meal costs included in the proposal.

The board moved and seconded approval of the agreement and adopted it by voice vote.
