Kenilworth Planning Board approves minutes and adopts 2026 meeting schedule (subject to amendment)

The Kenilworth Planning Board opened its meeting with the required Open Public Meetings Act notice and the Pledge of Allegiance, then approved the minutes from its Nov. 25 meeting by voice vote.

The board noted that the Nest 15 Building application (interior courtyard work, landscaping and drainage improvements) had been heard and approved at the November meeting; no new variances were required for that item. The board then considered a resolution setting the planning-board meeting dates for 2026; members discussed possible future amendments to accommodate holiday conflicts around Thanksgiving, Memorial Day and Christmas and moved to approve the schedule while reserving the right to amend specific dates in January or February.

The chair and board members also swore in the planner and engineer for testimony earlier in the night, and the meeting closed after the board handled the Chavez application and exchanged holiday greetings.
