Jones County approves mobile-home digest and adopts NADA valuation guidance

Jones County officials approved the county’s mobile-home digest and adopted NADA valuation guidance during a special session on Dec. 29.

Unidentified Speaker 4 presented the 'Bull Palm Digest,' noting a percentage-of-change figure of about 5.58% and stating residential values showed a large percentage change as reported in the digest. The presenter recommended the board adopt the digest, citing Department of Revenue recommendations and 'ADA values.' “I recommend that it be approved,” Unidentified Speaker 4 said.

The board moved to approve the prebuilt manufactured/mobile-home digest; a motion and a second were recorded and the board voted in favor. The meeting also included a separate motion to adopt NADA values (as referenced by staff for vehicles and boats), which passed with 'Aye' votes.
