Building committee approves OPM invoice, tables November minutes and schedules January advisory meetings

The Medford Comprehensive High School Building Committee on Dec. 22 approved the OPM services invoice of $25,000 for November 2025 and tabled approval of the Nov. 24, 2025 meeting minutes because several members reported they had not received the packet.

Committee staff said only OPM services were invoiced for November because designer contract execution and the MSBA kickoff delayed designer billing; SMMA invoices are expected to start after contract execution in the new year. A motion to approve the invoice was moved, seconded and passed by roll call; the chair stated "the ayes have it" and confirmed the invoice was approved.

Earlier in the meeting a motion was made and seconded to table approval of the Nov. 24, 2025 minutes; the chair subsequently recorded the motion as tabled to the next meeting to allow members time to review.

The committee also confirmed advisory team listening sessions that had taken place on Dec. 16 and 18 and scheduled additional advisory meetings for Jan. 13 and Jan. 15, with a full committee meeting planned for Jan. 14 to review alternatives. Project staff said PDP estimates will be available in early February and the team expects to seek PDP approval/submission to the MSBA in late February.

Before adjourning, the committee moved to adjourn; a roll call recorded 11 affirmative votes with four absences and the meeting was closed.
