Pennsauken officials name Scavuzzo House winner of "best holiday spirit" award

Mayor Nikki Roberts announced that the Scavuzzo House had won Pennsauken Township’s "best holiday spirit" award during a short community presentation on Monday. "And we are here at the Scavuzzo House, and they have won the best holiday spirit award," Roberts said, adding that the winners were not present.

Deputy Mayor Jessica Rafe joined the brief ceremony and an individual identifying as Santa participated in the remarks. Officials said they would leave the winner’s gift card in a secure location for the family.

Roberts congratulated the "Scoop Scamuzzo family" by name during the remarks. After the announcement, she said the group would move on to the next house to present the Hallmark award and closed the short presentation.

The event was ceremonial and focused on community holiday recognition; no formal votes or policy actions were taken.
