Wright County board appoints Trails Committee member and approves Belmont maintenance agreement

The county’s 28E agreement with Belmont covers routine maintenance on identified routes (snow removal and summer blading); the city has already approved the agreement and the county will file and record the document as appropriate.

County secondary-roads staff gave an operational update: crews responded to snow on wide routes and intersections, hauled ice-control sand (inventory at about 56% of ordered amounts from DOT), and reported seismic testing and ongoing projects. Staff also noted potential equipment-price increases (dump trucks) that would be considered during budgeting.
