Larimer committee approves 2026 legislative calendar and adjusts presentation schedule

At its May 23 meeting the Larimer County Legislative Committee approved several routine but consequential items: the minutes from the April 18, 2024 meeting, the committee's 2026 legislative calendar through January 2026 (as amended), and adjourned the session.

Mark Morgan moved to approve the April 18 minutes; Allison Lurch seconded and the committee approved them by voice vote.

Julie Stencil moved to approve the 2026 calendar and amended the motion to extend the six planned presentation days to 90 minutes; the motion passed by voice vote. Chair Joey Shai McNally said staff will circulate the calendar and members should propose presenters for scheduled presentation days.

Chair McNally moved to adjourn at the meeting's close; Mark Morgan seconded and the committee adjourned by voice vote.

The actions taken were procedural approvals required to set the committee's schedule and meeting parameters for program presentations and future deliberations.
