Crook County special session postpones road department review; session adjourned

Will Van Vactor, Crook County manager, told the board the road superintendent (Brad) was not available for the Dec. 19 meeting and offered options to either read the road department slides or reschedule so the superintendent could attend. Commissioners said it was preferable to have the road superintendent present; the board agreed to add the road department to a January special-session agenda (dates mentioned include Jan. 16 and Jan. 22).

After wrapping up remaining business, an unidentified commissioner moved to adjourn the core services special session and another commissioner seconded. The chair called for the ayes and the meeting was ended by voice vote; the transcript records affirmative responses as "For Merkai" and "Barney, aye."
