Elgin council approves Logic Compensation Group to conduct citywide pay study

The Elgin City Council on Dec. 2 unanimously approved staff’s recommendation to hire Logic Compensation Group to conduct a citywide compensation (comp) study.

Stacy Ford Osborne’s meeting recap states that 14 firms responded to the city’s request for qualifications. Staff recommended Logic Compensation Group, citing positive reviews from other cities and an on-site consultant component. Council approved the recommendation without recorded dissent.
