City council approves consent calendar including building code update and parcel map

The Rancho Mirage City Council unanimously approved its consent calendar on Dec. 18 with no members of the public speaking on the items. City Manager Isaiah Hagerman summarized seven consent items (5A–5G): waiving full reading of ordinances introduced or adopted under the agenda; approval of the Dec. 4, 2025 meeting minutes; adoption of the 2025 building code update as presented; acceptance of final parcel map No. 38844 for a skilled nursing facility; extension of a completion date for parcel map No. 38315 for four residential lots; authorization of listed contracts; and approval of demands.

A councilmember moved to approve the consent calendar, the motion was seconded and the vote was recorded as "Motion carries five‑zero."
