Facilities committee previews stadium renovation: 16–20 week timeline and multiple upgrades

The Carlisle Area School District facilities committee provided an informational update on the planned stadium renovation, which committee members said should take about 16–20 weeks to complete and includes multiple building upgrades.

Committee representative George described the project scope: "The stadium project ... will take up approximately 16 to 20 weeks to complete, will include things such as team rooms on the home side as well as five other team rooms, visitors' locker room, training room upgrades, restrooms and a family restroom, and also storage space on the visitor side." The update was presented at the committee level; the administration is preparing final bid documents in advance of a Jan. 13 bid date.

The committee framed the project as addressing deferred maintenance and improving user amenities; the board received the report as informational and will consider formal contracting and bid awards in subsequent meetings once procurement steps are complete.
