Council reports tree-inventory migration and completes sidewalk work for season

Buildings and Grounds provided a brief update: the village's tree inventory has been moved from an Excel spreadsheet into a searchable software system, the contractor is reevaluating previously marked trees so fewer red-dot trees may be removed than earlier planned, and an emergency contractor has been assigned for short-term issues. Residents were directed to report tree concerns to trees@terracepark.org.

Separately, council members said the sidewalk project is finished for the year and that blacktop patches on sidewalks indicate temporary repairs being tracked for full replacement. One park sidewalk that has been affected by a tree will be removed and replaced in an upcoming repair cycle.
