At its Nov. 12 meeting the Norfolk County Commission approved a slate of routine personnel actions, payroll and expense warrants, and a procurement lease for grounds equipment.
Personnel: The commission accepted the resignation of Alyce Anderson (student camp employee) and approved contingent continued employment appointments for Colleen Collins (girls varsity coach), Devin London (girls JV soccer coach) and Maya Acosta (girls JV volleyball coach). The commission also approved a regrade for Carlisle M. Forte to special education instructional assistant. Two FMLA leaves were approved (effective 11/10/25 and 11/19/25); the transcript did not state the employees’ names for privacy.
Payroll and warrants: Commissioners approved county payroll warrant 26‑19 for $151,642.90, county expense warrant 11‑02‑26 for $568,865.58, and school payroll warrant 26‑19‑10 for $402,261.89. Each warrant was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Procurement: Procurement staff recommended and the commission approved a five‑year lease for a Groundmaster 3500D grounds‑keeping machine for the Wallace and Recreation facility. Procurement said leases would be processed through PNC Bank and the commission authorized signing documents.
