Plan Commission refers East 22nd Street certified survey map to Common Council

The Marshfield Plan Commission reviewed a certified survey map (CSM) proposing right‑of‑way dedication to extend East 22nd Street east of Nicolai Avenue. Staff reported the city already owns the northern 30 feet of the proposed right‑of‑way and that approval of the CSM would dedicate the southern 30 feet to create the full 60‑foot corridor identified on the official map.

Levin told the commission the CSM had been reviewed by city staff and conditionally approved pending plan commission and Board of Public Works recommendation; the Board of Public Works had previously voted to forward the recommendation to the Common Council. No public comments were raised and the plan commission referred the CSM to the Common Council for final action under Wisconsin Statute 62.23.
