At the Dec. 16 Village Board meeting, a representative for Tee Hands and Durbin's used the Tinley Park Business Spotlight to describe the businesses’ role in the Harmony Square downtown development and upcoming seasonal offerings.
The speaker said Tee Hands reopened in March 2025 at 17329 Oak Park Avenue as a family-owned Irish pub and that Durbin's — connected to Tee Hands — features a rooftop bar, private heated igloos for winter dining and a public-facing plaza overlooking concert and ice-rink activity. The representative listed events and promotions including holiday karaoke, New Year’s Eve parties, weekly rotating specialty drink menus, steak nights and daytime bingo, and said the businesses have hosted local school banquets and community gatherings.
The presentation emphasized community partnership: aides noted the businesses' efforts to complement Harmony Square programming, provide concession hot chocolate at the ice rink, sell commemorative mugs and host concerts in banquet spaces.
Trustees and attendees responded appreciatively; no formal action was required. The business representative closed by thanking the village and wishing the community happy holidays and a successful 2026.
Next steps: No board action was required; the remarks were part of the business-spotlight agenda and referenced the Harmony Square development and ongoing events schedule.
