Sergeant Jerry Burns urges Lake Havasu drivers to follow crosswalk signals after viewer concern

He urged drivers to follow the signal indications: "when you see this crosswalk, if the lights are flashing, you need to stop and then proceed when safe." He added, "If it is a solid red, then you need to completely stop. Wait for any pedestrians that are crossing, then it'll turn to flash mode, and you're able to proceed."

The sergeant framed the guidance as safety-oriented rather than punitive, advising caution when approaching the crosswalk and reminding drivers that different signal modes have different requirements.
