Board meets in executive session, then unanimously approves superintendent performance pay

The Glendale Elementary School District Governing Board recessed into executive session to conduct the superintendent's performance evaluation under Arizona Revised Statute 38‑431.03(A)(1). The motion to recess was moved and seconded and carried with recorded votes.

After returning to public session, the board moved to approve payment of the superintendent's performance pay for the 2024–25 school year "as discussed in executive session." The motion carried; the clerk called individual votes and recorded 'aye' from Mr. Jaramillo, Ms. Pimentel, Ms. Bartels and the chair (President Martinez).

At the meeting's start the board also voted to adopt the agenda and later approved the consent agenda by individual roll call. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn.
