Commission approves rezone and tentative subdivision map in South Sacramento

The Sacramento County Planning Commission unanimously approved a rezone, tentative subdivision map and design review for a site east of Gardner Avenue and roughly 0.2 miles south of Florin Road in South Sacramento.

Mike Robertson, the civil engineer from Baker Williams Engineering Group for the project, said he had reviewed the conditions of approval, had no technical questions, and was available if commissioners needed clarification. The clerk listed the environmental document as an addendum.

There were no public comments. A commissioner made the motion and another seconded; the clerk recorded all members present voting yes and the item passed.

No contested issues or appeals were announced at the meeting; the project will proceed under the conditions indicated in the staff report.
