Baker Bobcats perform Alice in Wonderland and receive board'room recognition

At the start of the meeting several Baker students came to the podium to lead the flag salute and talk about their production of Alice in Wonderland. Students introduced themselves and explained why the role of Alice was split among multiple performers; they described audition processes and the experience of performing for families and the community.

Trustees and district leaders praised the students for their courage and talent, asked about the number of shows and encouraged attendance at future concerts and performances. The board invited the students to a group photo and thanked families and volunteers for supporting the arts program.

The appearance served as a reminder of the district's extracurricular and arts offerings and preceded the formal business of the board meeting.
