East board notes death of appointed member Dennis Bolin

At the close of the meeting planning staff announced that Dennis Bolin, an appointee who had been named to the East zoning board but had not yet served, passed away on Oct. 26. Staff said Bolin had a long history of service, including roles on the Southeast Consolidated Zoning Board, the South Central Zoning Board and the Planning Commission.

Chair and board members expressed condolences and staff made a sympathy card available at the dais for signatures. No appointments or replacement nominations were discussed at the meeting; staff said they would follow standard appointment procedures when appropriate.
