Committee approves superintendent's 2025–26 goals aligned to strategic plan

The committee reviewed and approved the superintendent's goals for the 2025–26 school year at the Dec. 15 meeting.

The presenter described the goals as refreshed, linked to updated data and aligned to the district strategic plan and the district's culture and climate work. A committee member said some items overlap with the goals already in the evaluation form; the presenter acknowledged the concern and said aligning the two documents next year could reduce duplication.

Miss Piper moved to approve the superintendent's goals; Miss Riche seconded. The chair called a voice vote and the committee approved the goals.

Members suggested reviewing the documents at the end of the year to identify opportunities to streamline language and avoid duplication.
