- Resolution 2025-80 (salary schedule correction): Council approved a corrective resolution to adjust certain job classifications following CalPERS notification; the motion carried unanimously.
- Council reorganization: Council voted to appoint Peggy McQuade as mayor and Hansa Romero as vice mayor for the coming year; the motion passed with full support.
- Appointments and alternates: The council reviewed and approved its annual appointments to county and regional bodies and reappointed alternates to the Board of Police and Fire Pension Fund; those appointments carried with unanimous votes.
- Gil Tract discretionary-fund request (11-2): After extended debate and competing motions, council voted to table the funding request to January pending documentation of school-district commitments; this item was not approved on Dec. 15.
