Canfield board approves minutes, personnel changes, trips, insurance and donations

At its December meeting the Canfield Local School District board approved a package of routine business items that the superintendent and staff presented.

Key actions (by motion and roll call):
- Approved the Nov. 12 minutes (motion by Campbell; second Alquist). Roll call: unanimous yes.
- Accepted the treasurer's cash summary and reports, which listed a general fund balance of approximately $15,900,000 and a capital projects fund of about $4,000,000; the treasurer highlighted payroll (~$800,000 every two weeks) and monthly medical benefits (~$400,000). The board approved the treasurer's report by motion and roll call.
