Votes at a glance: minutes, CDC postcard color change, and forwarding festival proposal

The Keizer Community Engagement Committee recorded three formal actions at its Dec. 4 meeting.

Approve minutes — Motion: a committee member moved to approve the minutes "as written" and another seconded; the committee voted "aye" and the minutes were approved. (Transcript: SEG 006–016)

CDC postcard color change — Motion: after review of two postcard versions, members agreed to change the postcard’s blue to a lighter, more visible shade. A member moved to approve the postcard with that change; the motion was seconded and the committee voted in favor. The chair said she would send the final copy to Dawn for email distribution (Transcript: SEG 686–719).

Forward multicultural festival proposal to council — Motion: a committee member moved to forward a draft multicultural-festival proposal to the City Council after changing first-person wording from "I" to "we." The motion was seconded and approved; staff will submit the revised document for placement on a council agenda and draft a budget for review (Transcript: SEG 726–833).
