The Public Services Committee voted to forward the Golden Meadows Second Filing final plat to the City Council after staff described the subdivision and recommended conditions.
Planning staff said the proposal would replat Golden Meadows Lots 17–20 into eight lots intended for semi‑attached (duplex) dwellings in the MR (medium residential) zone. The applicant requested a reduced rear setback of 10 feet to accommodate the proposed units; staff indicated amenability to that adjustment if the governing body approves the final plat. Staff also recommended the dedication of 10 feet of right‑of‑way to Lot 8 along Dell Range Boulevard prior to recording.
Brandon Swain, agent for the applicant, described likely product types as two‑story twin homes with three bedrooms, two baths and two‑car garages and said there is no finalized commercial plan for another nearby parcel. There were no substantive public objections in committee. Councilman White moved to adopt with staff conditions; the committee voted to forward the recommendation to the full council.
