Board approves consent agenda, annexation and moves to closed session

At its Nov. 25 meeting the Lincoln Board of Education approved routine business by roll call and moved into closed session on the items listed below.

• Minutes: The board approved minutes from its Nov. 11 meeting without additions or corrections.

• Consent agenda (items 8.1–8.3): A board member moved approval and the motion was seconded; the clerk conducted a roll call and the consent agenda was approved with all present voting yes.

• Second reading — annexation (item 10.1): The board moved and seconded approval of newly annexed property to the city of Lincoln; roll call recorded affirmative votes from members present and the motion passed.

• Closed session: The board voted to go into closed session to discuss negotiations/collective bargaining and to receive legal advice; the motion was seconded, roll call recorded affirmative votes, and the board recessed for closed session and planned to adjourn after it.
