Quakertown board tables photography contract over privacy, exclusivity concerns

Quakertown Community School District — The board voted Dec. 2 to table consideration of a contract with KD Studios LLC (a proposal described in the materials as a contract with 'Katie' for senior portraits) after questions about exclusivity language and the company's legal history.

A board member asked, "Has this contract gone through our solicitor? ... this company has had multiple lawsuits against them, specifically for their data use and privacy consent," expressing concern about tying students to a single vendor and about data-handling practices.
