Commissioners approve consent items for facilities and parking contracts, then vote to enter executive session

At the end of a day of budget presentations, County Administrator Jeff Alito walked commissioners through consent agenda items 5–8. The items included a six-month lease renewal with the Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Board at 1916 Central Parkway, purchase orders for facilities software/hardware and telecommunications installation at the Central Campus Building (about $308,983), an RFP award and agreement with Ace Parking LLC for management of several county parking facilities, and a purchase order for network equipment at the Central Campus Building (about $454,000).

Commissioner Denise Treehouse moved to approve items 5–8 and a second was recorded. The board voted in favor on roll call and the items were adopted.

Immediately after, Treehouse moved to enter executive session under Ohio Revised Code §121.22(G)(2) (sale or acquisition of property) and §121.22(G)(4) (collective bargaining). The motion carried on recorded roll-call votes and commissioners recessed into executive session.
