Lindbergh board approves CMAR contract, American Education Week resolution and consent items

At its Nov. 20 meeting the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education approved routine resolutions and a construction contract brought separately because of its value.

Agenda and consent motions: The board approved the meeting agenda at the start of the session (motion by Rachel; second by Andy) and later approved the consent agenda for Nov. 20, 2025 (motion by Rachel; second by Christie). One board member indicated an abstention earlier in the consent discussion; the consent vote was recorded as 5–0 for that item.

American Education Week resolution: The board approved an American Education Week resolution (Nov. 17–21 observance) by motion (motion by Rachel; second by Jen) and recorded the vote as unanimous (motion passes 6–0). Board members noted they were wearing school T-shirts in honor of the week.

Construction manager-at-risk contract: The board considered a construction manager-at-risk (CMAR) contract with BSI for a packaged group of smaller projects including work at Sappington and Concord and some high-school items. The administration explained this is the final contractual step before bidding; because the contract exceeds $50,000 it was presented separately. Megan moved the motion to approve the CMAR contract and Rachel seconded; the board voted to approve the contract unanimously (6–0).

Other items: The board acknowledged receipt of an anonymous monetary gift and thanked the donor publicly while noting the donor chose to remain unnamed. Board members also reviewed multiple first readings of curriculum and policy items that will return for future approval.
