Board approves slate of case recommendations, directs investigation and names parent representatives to UCEP

The board unanimously approved a series of consent and case recommendations and took several personnel and investigatory actions during the meeting. Member Boggess made the motions on each item; votes were recorded as approved with no recorded opposition.

The measures included approval of the UPAC consent calendar “as presented,” and separate approvals for case recommendations identified in the meeting as 24-2112; 24-2151; 24-2163; 204-2165; 25-2189; 25-2245; 25-2252; 25-2268; and 25-2270. The chair recorded the UPAC consent calendar as passing "unanimously with 3 absent." Other items were approved unanimously with no dissent recorded in the transcript.

The board also authorized staff to open an investigation in case number 205-2338. Member Boggess moved that "the Board direct U Pack to open an investigation in case number 205-2338"; the motion was seconded and recorded as passing.

On personnel matters, the board voted to continue the appointment of Molly Hart as interim superintendent of USDB and to add an agenda item related to that appointment to the executive session of the March 26 board meeting. The names read into the record were Keeley Solar; Damron Bridal (the chair corrected that name to "Damon Brian"); Nicole Williams; and Jen Slater. The chair confirmed the correction before the board voted to approve the appointments.
