Revere Commission on Disabilities: minutes approved, office contact and next meeting set

The Revere Commission on Disabilities opened its Dec. 9 meeting, conducted roll call, and took routine administrative steps.

The commission accepted the Oct. 14 meeting minutes after a motion by Mario Grimanes and a second from Jason Barone. Vice Chair Pauline Purnell read the commission office contact number for residents as (781) 286-8267 and advised that residents may also call 311 and ask to be transferred to the commission. Chair Ralph DeChico reminded the public that the commission is a facilitator for handicap-parking sign applications and that final approval is made by the city traffic commission; applications submitted after Nov. 22 will be heard in January with public hearings expected in February.

Jason Barone moved to adjourn the meeting and Ellie Vargas seconded; the meeting adjourned and the commission scheduled its next meeting for Jan. 13, 2026. The meeting closed with holiday wishes.
