PUSD trustees approve consent items, donations and fiscal‑year 2026 budget revision

At its Dec. 2 meeting the Prescott Unified School District governing board approved routine governance items including the meeting agenda and minutes, accepted donations and adopted fiscal year 2026 budget revision number 2.

Trustees approved the consent agenda after a motion and voice vote; the board separately thanked donors listed in item 7A2 and approved those donations. The board then considered the FY26 budget revision explained by financial staff as a timing and move‑on monies adjustment; after staff described the calculations trustees moved, seconded and approved the revision by voice vote.

The board also approved the district’s 2026 meeting calendar (maintaining a first‑Tuesday pattern with exceptions for holidays and election day) and a change to the 2026–27 academic calendar that moves a professional development day from November to October to better support first‑quarter instruction and parent‑teacher conferences.

Each of the above approvals passed on Dec. 2 by motion and voice vote and no opposed votes were recorded in the meeting transcript.
