Pennsbury board approves consent agenda; votes to buy bucket truck, Gator, accepts donation (one recusal)

After discussion, the board voted to approve the remaining consent agenda items by roll call. Separate votes followed:

- Bucket truck (item 6c): Board members voted unanimously in favor. Discussion noted the current truck is about 20 years old, will be sold to offset cost, and replacement was presented as a safety issue for staff working at height.

- Chip Taylor donation (item 7c): The board moved to accept a $500 donation from Chip Taylor and family for the Oxford Valley Elementary School garden. Board member Mister Taylor recused himself because he is the donor; the roll‑call vote recorded one abstention (Taylor) and the motion passed.

- Gator utility vehicle (item 7m): The board approved purchase of a security Gator for campus security needs. Discussion cited concerns about electric models' range and four‑wheel drive availability; the motion passed by roll call.

- VRC personnel file digitization (item 9c): The board approved an increase to the digitization contract after staff explained a discrepancy caused by sending larger boxes than originally quoted; administration said the records were already off-site and the increased cost fell below thresholds that would require rebidding.
