Private firm presents CashFest award; county praised for cash-management performance

Tyler Frame, senior relationship specialist at 3 plus 1, presented Madison County with a CashFest 90-plus award, telling the board the county reached a CashFest score of 94 out of 100 and ranks in the top 10% nationally for cash management.

"I think we're at 6 quarters in a row right now and we just hit our highest CashFest Score ever of 94 out of 100," Frame said, noting the score requires multiple consecutive quarters above 90. He told the board the county generated "over $4,000,000 in the last year compared to approximately 86,000 in the 12 month period before we started partnering together," and described improved performance relative to market benchmarks.

Frame framed the award as recognition of the county's liquidity and cash-management practices and thanked county staff and the Treasurer's Office for their partnership. The presentation was made in a brief segment before the board moved to regular business and committee reports.
