Sunnyvale commission approves annual work plan calendar; no public comment

The Sunnyvale Housing and Human Services Commission voted unanimously on Nov. 24 to approve the annual draft work plan and calendar. Commissioner Stewart made the motion to approve and Vice chair Rivera seconded; the roll-call vote recorded five yes votes with Commissioners Weiss and Davis absent and excused.

Staff had described the draft work plan as including recurring agenda items and a small set of candidate items to be calendared later; the commission had no public speakers on the consent calendar and proceeded to approve the calendar after brief discussion.

The approval allows staff to proceed with the schedule and to agendize later items as necessary. The commission will next convene for an early-evening joint presentation with the council on Dec. 2 and a special meeting on Jan. 6 to consider HUD-related amendments and federally funded RFPs.
