Pennsbury board swears in new directors and elects officers in reorganization meeting

The Pennsbury School District board formally certified November 2025 election results, administered oaths to newly elected directors and completed its annual reorganization, including votes for board officers.

Judge Vyslowski administered the oath of office to newly certified directors, including Lois Lambing, Joshua Waldorf, Linda Polsky, Joanna Steer and Jim Boyce. After the swearing-in the board moved to elect officers for the coming year.

Board members nominated Joanna Steer for president. The board approved Steer in a roll-call vote; Steer thanked members "for the vote of confidence." Jeff Waldorf was nominated and elected vice president, and Chip Taylor was elected assistant secretary after similar nominations and roll-call votes.

The president-elect read committee appointments: Chip Taylor, Dr. Janine Delwich and Lois Lamming for Bucks County Technical High School matters; Josh Waldorf to the Bucks County Intermediate Unit; municipal representatives for Falls Township, Tullytown Borough, Lower Makefield and Yardley Borough; and members for finance, education, facilities, policy & personnel and wellness committees.

There were no contested officer outcomes reported and the board adjourned the reorganization session to open a special meeting on the district’s high school project.

What happens next: The district scheduled a separate special meeting immediately afterward to review the new high school design and the schedule for bidding and construction.
