Board advances first reading to extend Comcast cable franchise to June 30, 2027

Lane County's Board of County Commissioners approved the first reading of Ordinance 2509 on Dec. 10, setting a second reading and public hearing for Jan. 6, 2026, to consider deleting and replacing Ordinance 24-10 to extend the franchise term for Comcast of Oregon 2 through June 30, 2027.
