County committees approve a batch of resolutions on budgets, appointments, contracts and investments

Members of the Jefferson County Health & Human Services Committee and the Finance & Rules Committee approved a sequence of resolutions and motions covering budgets, appointments, contracts, and tax levies during the meetings recorded in the transcript.

Among the items the committees carried by voice vote were: amendments to the 2024 county budget relating to mental health programs and additional state aid for mental health; appointments to the community services board; authorization of an amended agreement with Onondaga County for autopsy and testing services for the medical examiner's office; an agreement with 1,000 Islands Emergency Rescue Service concerning COVID‑19 and communicable diseases; routine levying of 2025 town and Consolidated Health District taxes; and several other administrative budget adjustments, benefits contracts and authorizations for capital and transportation projects presented as consent blocks.
