Senate reads first titles of S 255–S 262 and assigns committee referrals

During the session the chamber received first readings of eight Senate bills. Speaker 3 read each bill title and Speaker 1 announced the committee to which the bill was referred. The bills introduced and their committee referrals, as recorded in the transcript, are:
