Planning commission approves several items, approves bond extension and defers Jackson Farms

The Planning Commission handled several formal actions at the December session.

Consent agenda and bond: The commission approved a 6% extension on the Stone Crossing bond after staff reported work had not started and recommended the extension; the motion passed by voice vote.

Jackson Farms: After discussion of neighbor emails and potential roadway connections, the commission moved to defer the Jackson Farms final master plan to the next meeting; the motion to defer carried.

Sage Road assisted-living: The commission approved the final master plan for an assisted-living facility on Sage Road with stipulations requiring specified exterior materials, a backside buffer and landscape adjustments; the motion passed with an affirmative voice vote.

Honey Run Springs: The commission approved a minor plan amendment (changes to unit sizes and exterior designs) for Honey Run Springs; members described the submission as detailed and attractive and the motion to approve passed by voice vote.

Recordkeeping: For most actions the minutes and record show voice votes ('Aye'/'Opposed') but no detailed roll-call tallies were read into the transcript.
