Resident urges Perkiomen Valley board for better communication and review of policy 7.20

A member of the public told the Perkiomen Valley board it has an ongoing transparency problem and asked the board to revisit Policy 7.20.

Tim Jagger of Lower Frederick told the board that he had previously asked for "more transparency" and said another recent event at the high school was first visible on social media rather than through district notification channels. "So it's everybody's relying on social media to hear about these things," Jagger said, urging the district to notify parents directly when incidents occur. He also asked the board to bring Policy 7.20 back for discussion in light of federal Title IX changes he said were coming into effect in August.
