Emmaus, Pa. — At its April 8 meeting, the East Penn School District Board approved several agenda items by roll call and advanced a policy change to a third reading.
The board moved to accept personnel guidance as presented; the roll call reflected nine ayes and no objections. The board then combined business‑operations items a through d into a single motion and approved that package by roll call (nine ayes). The curriculum and educational conferences motion similarly passed by roll call with nine ayes recorded.
Administration reported one change to Policy 903 (public comment in board meetings): the guidelines were revised to require public comments to be directed to the presiding officer rather than to the board. The administration said the policy advanced to a third reading.
No requests to address the board from the public were recorded in the transcript for this meeting. The board chair announced an executive session earlier in the evening related to litigation and real estate. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Votes recorded in the meeting minutes excerpt included the March 25 minutes approval, personnel acceptance, business operations approvals and curriculum conference approvals; roll calls listed board members and showed unanimous yes votes for the recorded items.
