East Penn SD board approves personnel, business and curriculum items; policy 903 advances to third reading

Emmaus, Pa. — At its April 8 meeting, the East Penn School District Board approved several agenda items by roll call and advanced a policy change to a third reading.

The board moved to accept personnel guidance as presented; the roll call reflected nine ayes and no objections. The board then combined business‑operations items a through d into a single motion and approved that package by roll call (nine ayes). The curriculum and educational conferences motion similarly passed by roll call with nine ayes recorded.

Administration reported one change to Policy 903 (public comment in board meetings): the guidelines were revised to require public comments to be directed to the presiding officer rather than to the board. The administration said the policy advanced to a third reading.
