Board approves routine minutes, personnel, business operations and appointments

The East Penn School District Board approved a series of routine agenda items during its May 13 meeting, taking several grouped motions and roll‑call votes.

The board approved the minutes from the April 22 meeting (motion and roll call recorded with nine ayes). The posted personnel agenda — including an addendum posted Friday — was moved and approved by roll call (nine ayes). Business operations items A–E were taken together and approved by roll call (nine ayes); trustees noted and thanked Giant for a donation of approximately $13,690.53 through its Feeding School Kids initiative. Items F–H and item I were subsequently approved by roll call (each with nine ayes).

The board appointed Ms. Ford, Ms. Klotz and Mr. Kelly as delegates to the Pennsylvania School Boards Association delegate assembly and approved educational conference requests by roll call (nine ayes). The board also approved the Business Administrator (Mr. Sahl) as Board Treasurer by roll call (nine ayes).
