A Woburn committee advanced multiple personnel matters to the full council, sending three nominations and several reappointments for confirmation.
Mayor Concannon presented Anne Chatfield for the Woburn Board of Appeals; Chatfield told the committee she moved to Woburn in 2017, has observed appeals meetings and has a real-estate and escrow background. Councilors praised her attendance at appeals meetings and her readiness to contribute, and the committee voted to send her nomination to the full council.
The committee also advanced William J. McGrath’s nomination to the Woburn License Commission. McGrath described himself as a lifelong Woburn resident with long-standing community involvement; the committee moved his nomination out to pass.
Separately, the committee approved the reappointment of Jan H. Fuller to the Commission on Disability and forwarded several reappointments to the Council on Age and Aging (Rosalie Trevello, Mitzi Stein, Mary Jane Master Domenico, Angela Amato and Joyce Baker) to the full council.
All personnel items were advanced by voice vote with no objections recorded at committee. Each appointment and reappointment will appear on the full council’s confirmation docket.
