District leaders recommended adopting Linkit, a data‑warehousing and analytics platform, as a central repository for assessment, behavioral and attendance data and argued it would reduce staff time spent stitching together separate spreadsheets.
"LinkIt is... a platform designed to manage all of our assessment data, our analytics tools, and our intervention support," Speaker 2 told the committee. The presentation said the recommended one‑year contract is $28,925 and includes digital tools and year‑one professional development and onboarding. Speaker 2 added that the district built that cost into next year’s curriculum and instruction budget and that district technicians and MTSS staff had reviewed the tool’s safety and security features.
Board members asked whether the district’s assessment sources would be compatible; the presenters said the product supports automatic integration with the district’s systems. Access would be tiered (teachers see their students; specialists or administrators see broader views). District technology staff will manage initial data migration and integration with existing systems, and the vendor offers customization of reports and fields.
Questions about multi‑year pricing and out‑year costs received general answers: the vendor does offer longer agreements and possible discounts but specific percentages were not provided. Speaker 2 said the introductory year includes an onboarding and PD component (noted in discussion as approximately $6,000 of PD) and that out‑year costs were not expected to spike unless additional modules were added.
Next steps: Staff will bring the Linkit contract and supporting materials for community review and the May regular board meeting will include the voting item.
