The Neshaminy School Board voted unanimously to approve the Bucks County Technical High School budget for the 2024–25 school year, committing Neshaminy’s share of the district’s required payment.
Board member Allen presented the cooperative budget, saying the Bucks County Technical High School exists to provide technical education for students across six Lower Bucks County districts. The board approved a total budget of $33,579,138, including an operating budget of $32,205,876. Neshaminy’s net fiscal payment for 2024–25 was listed as $5,334,056.
The board conducted a roll-call vote; all nine members responded “yes.” The motion passed 9–0.
Board discussion reiterated support for the regional technical program and its role in trades and professional education. A trustee noted the size of the commitment and said the district values the technical high school’s programs.
Next steps: The approved budget will be implemented for the 2024–25 school year as part of the cooperative arrangement among participating districts.
