Neshaminy board approves consent agenda, personnel appointments and retirements

The Neshaminy School District Board of School Directors on the evening approved its consent agenda covering minutes, treasurer reports, procurement card purchases, investments and exonerations, and a package of personnel actions.

Board president moved the master motion for routine matters (items 2.01–2.05); Mister Sullivan seconded and the voice vote carried 7–0. Later, the board approved a package of personnel actions (items 4.01–4.07) also by voice vote, with Mister Sullivan again moving the motion.

The board approved the appointment of an administrative staff member identified in the record as Sean Hanes. After the vote, the appointee addressed the board and said, "I'm incredibly excited to be here."

During the personnel actions, Mister Cirillo called out several retirees by name and years of service: Kenneth Floggle (about 35.4 years), Diane Lewandowski (28 years, identified as an instructional assistant at Tawanka) and Kimberly Whitlock (listed as a secretary at Maple with 0.29 years). The retirements and other personnel items were approved 7–0.

The board president framed the recognitions as part of the superintendent's report, noting the district serves roughly 9,800 students and employs over 1,300 staff under an approximately $200,000,000 budget. The approvals complete routine governance tasks ahead of the district’s year-end meetings.
