The Neshaminy School District resumed its teacher recognition awards — its first awards since before the COVID pandemic — honoring six winners across four categories: two Spirit of Neshaminy awards, two Leadership awards, one Community Partnership award and one Innovation award.
Presentations included remarks from high-school and district principals highlighting nominees’ classroom innovations, leadership and community engagement. The board announced each award recipient will receive $1,500 to spend on classroom equipment or resources.
Award winners and nominees named on the record include Bailey Scully (leadership, praised for work in special education and for starting the e‑hall pass program), Sean D. Los Angeles (spirit), Jennifer Mann (community partnership), Brooke Lesser (spirit), Patrick Spiro (innovation) and Kathy Alford (leadership). Students and colleagues spoke in support of nominees; a student representative praised Jennifer Mann’s community work.
