Superintendent Bowen used the board meeting to highlight recent student and community accomplishments, and board members reported on foundation scholarships and the technical school budget.
Bowen noted that the Barkin Family Healing Hearts Foundation partnered with Maple Point Middle School for a sixth annual Mother's Day Walk that "raised almost $10,000," and said the event included a guest appearance by an Eagles player and was "an absolutely great event." He also recognized Anne Hutton of Herbert Hoover Elementary as the Citadel Heart of Healing Award grand prize winner for elementary teachers and congratulated students honored at top 5% ceremonies and spring athletic signing events.
At the meeting, the Neshaminy Education Foundation (NEF) announced it awarded five $1,000 scholarships to graduating Neshaminy seniors; the recipients will be invited to the Neshaminy High School Senior Awards Ceremony on May 25. NEF also opened nominations for the 2023 Neshaminy Alumni Achievement Awards and invited community nominations.

The joint board approved a technical school budget and will forward it to the six sending districts for approval. At the meeting the district's stated share of that budget was $5,000,304.03.
