The Snyderville Basin Planning Commission on March 12 recommended approval of three supplemental condominium plats in the White Pine Canyon Village lower village area.
Tiffany Robinson, senior planner, said the plats (Buildings 9–11, phases 5–7) convert the remaining entitled density of the previously approved White Pine development into individually saleable condominium units. The three proposed plats would add a four‑plex (units 21–24), another four‑plex (units 25–28) and a duplex (units 29–30) to complete the originally approved 30‑unit buildout.
Staff review and recommendation: Robinson reported that staff had reviewed the applications against the development code, that the Canyons Village Master Association (CVMA) recommended approval, and that utilities, easements and prior plat conditions have been reconciled where required. She recommended that the commission make a positive recommendation to the Summit County Manager, the final land‑use authority for these administrative plats.
Commission action: The planning commission moved and seconded three separate motions, one for each supplemental condominium plat, and each motion passed on roll‑call vote 6–0. The commission’s positive recommendations will advance to the county manager for final action and recordation procedures.
Next steps: If the county manager approves the plats, applicants will record final documents and the units will become individually transferable in accordance with the applicable recording timeline and conditions of approval.
